I’m pretty sure you can tell how in love these two are just by the way they look at each other, squeeze each other, and hug each other…they undoubtedly love each other 1,000%. Well probably more than that to be exact. To say that I am excited for their wedding in August is an understatement!  I have loved getting to know the both of them and have enjoyed learning what their love looks like from an outsider’s perspective. This is what it looks like…

During this next set of photos by the water, I accomplished a first in my career….I completely wiped out on a small hill. Like I really wiped out, in slow motion and everything. And since my camera is my child, it landed perfectly on top of me (I subconsciously risked my life for it). Thank you Laura and Seth for not laughing at me until you knew I was okay :) Good friends right there…

I can’t stop talking about them because they are to DIE for and apparently the rest of Goshen has caught on as well. Marshall King of the Elkhart Truth and Dining A La King has been on a quest for the best cupcakes in the Goshen/Elkhart area and he just tried the amazing cupcakes of Happy Dance Cupcakes. He posted his review in this article and Happy Dance Cupcakes is a FINALIST in the quest!!!!! So I just wanted to share this exciting news for an amazing  local vendor and some of the pics I will be taking of each of her flavors.

Better late than never right? :)

Oh vacation, I can’t express how much you rejuvenated me and inspired me for the things to come in 2012. If you are ever in a slump and feeling extremely overwhelmed with life, I highly recommend packing a bag and going somewhere! It doesn’t matter where, it could even be down the street!

My wonderful husband and I chose to go to Vegas for a photography conference and then on to Florida for some beach/family time to rejuvenate our souls. And boy did it work. We met some amazing people, danced around in the desert, walked the Vegas strip, learned tons at some workshops, breathed in the warm air, chilled with family, read books, got sunburn, played shuffle board, and many other things. But the thing I loved most about vacation was just living it. We lived! We enjoyed ourselves, didn’t focus on work, took pictures for fun, remembered why we love life, and loved spending every waking moment together (me and the husband that is). :) Those are the reasons why I loved our vacation.

And now that we are back; I am reading more books, chilling with family, getting sunburn, walking around our neighborhood, going on bike-rides, and many other things. I am remembering how to live life more abundantly with the people I love whether I am on “vacation” or not and I am loving every second of it.

Next stop: Tampa, Florida

The closest I’ve ever been to the Grand Canyon, if it’s this beautiful from up above – I can’t imagine how beautiful it is on the ground. Next vacation?

The rest of our vacation was spent in Clearwater, Florida with Jordan’s side of the family.

The last couple weeks have been a crazy blur of birthday parties, snow, sunshine, taxes, and other random things I can’t even remember. The last couple days have been a crazy blur of packing, last minute shopping trips, and planning one of the most exciting trips I will ever go on! This Sunday, my wonderful husband and I will be leaving for a 2 week adventure! The first 5 days, we will be hitting the Las Vegas strip to partake in one of the BIGGEST photography conferences of the year. We’ll be attending workshops, meeting other amazing photographers, and making tons of memories! Not to mention, we will be getting photos taken of us by my favorite photography duo of all time! I can hardly contain my excitement! You’ll definitely be seeing those pictures all over Facebook :) So if you would like to follow some of my adventures from Vegas, head over to Facebook because I’ll be posting pictures of the bright lights all along the way. Then from Vegas, we are flying to Clearwater, Florida for some much needed relaxing beach and family time. Super stoked to walk on the beach barefoot and read books! AH!

So you won’t be hearing from me here for at least another two weeks, but you better believe there will be a huge post recapping the trip! Also be looking forward to some amazing new website updates and other fun things upon my return! Wedding season is only 2 months away! Can you believe it?! But thank you all for your wonderful support and I can’t do a blog post without some lovely photographs. So I’ll be gracing you with some snapshots from my nephew Will’s 1st birthday party! Gosh that kid. I can’t handle his cuteness sometimes.
