Scott and Jennifer :: Engagement

I met Scott and Jennifer at White River State Park in Indianapolis on a beautiful Saturday evening. As we both walked from different sides of the park to meet somewhere in the middle, I realized that I had no idea what the two of them looked like. Somehow we found each other and Jennifer later told me that she felt like she was walking into a blind date!  Well, I’ve never been on a blind date before. But if every blind date was as good as this one…I’d do them every day if I could! Scott and Jennifer are two of the loveliest people ever. They were so comfortable around each other, which in turn made me feel incredibly comfortable around the two of them as well. It didn’t even matter that there was a constant audience around us for every picture. Not only are they beautiful on the outside, but they have beautiful hearts. The kind of hearts, I want to be friends with :)

Scott and Jennifer, you two are gorgeous. Your love story is beautiful and I know your life together will be just that as well.  Until we meet again…

I also had planned to have my new website and blog released this week, but due to the fact that my husband and I have to find a place to live in 3 weeks and I am attending my grandmother’s funeral tomorrow…The release has been pushed back a bit. But I promise it will be as soon as possible, so don’t lose hope! Love to all…

Pooja and Manav :: Sunny E-Session

The day that this adorable couple was scheduled for their engagement shoot was a rainy one. I was sitting at my desk, checking the hourly weather forecast almost every half hour. About 2 hours before the shoot, I saw rays of sunshine peeking in through the clouds and I instantly new that this session was going to be a good one :) Pooja and Manav are two of the coolest people I know. They trusted me as a photographer and you could tell they trusted each other. With around an eight year history together, these two have one of those relationships that’s not tainted by the three hours of driving that separates them during the week. And when they smile at each other, I smile.

Pooja and Manav, I wish you all the best in your long lives together and I hope your wedding in India is all that you hoped for and more. And now without further ado…

Wedding at the Old Bag Factory :: Anna and Brian

Okay so I originally wanted to post this wedding when my new website and blog design was released, but as soon as I inserted the pictures below…I could not wait any longer to post it! So hopefully the next post you see will be the unveiling of my new look. Get excited. I met Anna and Brian back in December of 2010. As soon as we sat down at Starbucks and started talking about the details of their wedding, I knew we were a match made in heaven. Anna and Brian are two of the nicest people I know and every time we hang out (whether it had to do with their wedding or not), I knew God put them in my life for a reason. I could go on and on about this wedding and this couple. I truly think this post is a turning point in my career because whenever I look at these images, I want to cry. I am finding out so much about myself through this career and I can see how much I’ve grown in every new picture I take. Anna, you have become one of my greatest friends and I have you and Brian to thank for creating such a beautiful wedding post. These pictures are your story and I feel so honored to be the one presenting it. I wish you all the best in your life together, and I am so excited to be a part of it even after the wedding day. Did I mention how much I love my job?
