Brad and Brennan :: Syracuse Engagement

Love has to be the greatest gift in the world. The feeling you get when you are in the presence of someone you love, a gift. The fact that we can spend the rest of our lives loving someone unconditionally and get the same in return, an amazing gift. I can’t look at the pictures below and not think of all the people I love and how happy they make me feel. During this entire session I wanted to have my husband in my arms to love and hold and never let go.

Brad and Brennan have a gift, they love each other so effortlessly when they are together and do everything in their power to show their love for each other when they apart. Whoever said that long distance can’t work, they were wrong. Because when you love someone enough, it has no way of failing. Brad and Brennan may be long distance for this last year of school but they will be smiling and hugging like below for forever and ever. Thank you both for being the cutest most in love couple ever! I can’t wait for your wedding next year! Enjoy everyone!

Wedding at Billie Creek Village :: Anne & Dave

A wedding doesn’t revolve around the flowers, or the food, or the venue. A wedding is a time to celebrate. A time to celebrate the joining of two people in love, a joining of families. It’s a big love party! This wedding was the definition of a “love party.” Both Anne and Dave had one thing on their mind this day, I am going to be spending the rest of my life with the one I love most. And nothing else mattered. Not the flowers. Not the food. Nothing. And that is what I love most about them.

Love makes everyone happy too. You can tell how happy this day was with all the giggles and smiles below.

I can’t express how lucky I am to work with couples in the most excited and “love filled” time of their life. I love my life.

But I hope you find joy in Anne and Dave’s story and that you can put yourself in their wedding day through these images. Enjoy! And go LOVE someone today!

Katherine Oliver - Oh, I love Billie Creek Village. How brilliant to have a wedding there! I loved all of these, but especially the second from the bottom.

veronica hill - M.O.B. here. Ashley these are great. Thanks for coming and joining in with us. It was more fun than my wedding. I love the first picture with everyone outside the church, but of course I love all the ones of the bride and groom. The laughing bride and bridesmaids is great. The night time shot of the reception is wonderful. It was a great night.

POLAROID POST :: Home Sweet Home

So ever since the totally ridiculously awesome people over at Totally Rad Actions gave me a Polaroid camera back in May, I have been happily snapping away with all of the Polaroid cameras I have in my possession. There is something so magical about seeing that picture pop straight out of the camera and develop right before your eyes. So I wanted to share that joy with all of you with what I will now call: POLAROID POSTS. I’ll be posting any new Polaroids I have taken along with a little update on my personal life! Awesome right!?

So lately, BUSY has become my new middle name. Along with the busy wedding weekends, my husband and I have packed our belongings and moved from one home to another…3 times…in 3 months. Talk about gross! But the last move was the most exciting because we moved into our brand new home. The whole process happened so fast that I never in a million years thought I would be a homeowner in September of 2011. Once we made the decision to start looking for houses, the 10th house we looked at was the one. We walked straight through the door and I just new, this is where I want to be…this is my home. And you know what? It was our home and I thank God everyday for making it happen and for making it happen smoothly and quickly! I feel so so blessed and I can’t wait to make many memories in this home. And don’t worry, I will be posting tons of pictures some other time so you can see the inside and all the details that I love so dearly.

I’m not sure about you, but Labor Day Weekend is one of my favorite times of the year. My family gathers at my Aunt’s house every year to be lazy in each other’s presence. We just love being around each other and it doesn’t matter what we do. I just love it. So this weekend was so wonderful and I loved every moment I got to spend with my family and my nephew of 6 months. Can’t get enough of him! I also attended a wedding of my good friend from college. It was priceless. All of our friends are all over the world living out their own new adventures and it was so wonderful to have everyone back in the same place…dancing like fools for hours on end.

Within all the craziness of moving into a new home while still trying to run your business, these last few weeks have been some of the greatest weeks of my life and I can’t wait to snuggle up with a good book in a few months and look back at how far I’ve come. I can’t thank all of you enough for all your support and I can’t wait to share more memories with you. I love to tell your story, but I hope to share mine with you too.

First Polaroid taken with the camera Totally Rad gave me!

The first picture I took with my Fujifilm Instax Mini. Isn't my husband cute? :)

Have a wonderful week everyone and go make memories!
