The Farmhouse Wedding :: Dani & Nata

I could go on for hours about these two. I frequently gush about how much I love my job and the couples that I get to work with because they are all so amazing. Each wedding never ceases to amaze me, but this wedding blew my mind. The first time I met Dani and Nata, Nata had been in the country for a whopping 2 weeks! Nata is originally from Argentina and Dani was an exchange student there for around 9 months. Let’s just say that the rest is history.

I can’t express how fortunate I feel to have captured this day. But really, I am having trouble forming sentences because this wedding was SO AMAZING! Dani and Nata’s love has no boundaries, no borders, and no barriers. They have a compassionate, loving family that is rich in culture and I can only imagine how amazing their new marriage will be. When the traitorous storm moved the outdoor ceremony into the reception hall, no dream was crushed and no tear ever fell because their dream was still coming true. They will be together and in love… forever.

Dani and Nata, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your dream and I know God will bless your marriage for years to come. Now, don’t be shy…check out this amazing love story.

The ceremony and reception took place at a beautiful farmhouse in Nappanee, Indiana. Everything about the house and land was immaculate.

Wedding at the Lahr Atrium :: Molly and Sean

I have known Molly and Sean since high school and even though we were in different graduating classes, it was evident to everyone at our school that these two were made for each other. It was at their engagement session earlier this year that I witnessed how passionate these two can be. They have this magical power of tuning everything else out around them when they are holding each other. They get lost in the mere presence of each other and it was so refreshing to photograph a love like that….twice! Their wedding was doused in oranges, yellows and greens at multiple locations in down town Lafayette.  Everything was beautiful and everything will continue to be beautiful as these two lovebirds can now spend the rest of their lives together. Thank you Molly and Sean for allowing me to capture the first day of the rest of your lives together and remember to never stop loving passionately.

Sarah - Beautiful job, Ashley. Memories forever captured.

Brian - The pictures are wonderful and the theme looked beautiful and unique! Well done!

I ran across your blog through google and noticed that this couple had their reception at Adelino’s. My fiance and I are getting married in the summer of 2012 and are considering Adelino’s as a reception site.

Was wondering if you’d be willing to provide any feedback on the venue, or share my information with Molly and Sean if they would be willing to provide feedback. The ballroom seems fairly new and we haven’t ran across too many couples who can be a reference. If you email me I’d be happy to provide additional contact info.

Thanks!

amish acres wedding :: collette and weston

I can’t express how lucky I am to be able to capture such beautiful people on their wedding day. A wedding day can be stressful for the people involved but the only feeling I had during Collette and Weston’s wedding day was pure – ridiculously huge amounts of joy. There was laughter during all parts of the day, smiles and jokes, hugs and love. I was smiling so big the entire day running around saying, “ooooo you are getting married so soon!” It was like I was reliving the joy of my wedding day through someone else’s day and I was loving every minute of it. You will be able to see how much joy took place by the smile that lit up on Collette’s face every time she was with Weston and all the friends and family that support them in their new marriage. The church was beautiful, Amish Acres was beautiful, the decorations were beautiful, the wedding party was beautiful, Collette and Weston were beautiful….need I go on?

Here’s Collette and Weston’s beautiful wedding story:

They had a pretty sweet ride for the day :)

BEWARE: Honeymooning in Hawaii may cause an exit similar to this…

Collette and Weston…Thank you for choosing me to photograph your day and thank you for choosing joy… you two are the happiest people I know!

Alex - Ashleyyyyy! Why it has been so long since I visited your blog, I have no idea – but firstly I love the new look and design! Secondly – this wedding is so AWESOME. You did a fantastic job capturing everything so artistically and I love all the details and emotion! You absolutely rock. Keep it up!

Sara - I love the pictures! They’re so beautiful and look better than I imagined they could. I teared up looking at the pictures instead of tearing up at the wedding. Ashley you did great with these.
