When I got asked to photograph five beautiful friends who love each other passionately, you can guess how I responded. They are all each individually beautiful and different yet they mold together so perfectly you can tell they were made for each other. Love stories aren’t just made for two people, they are made for everyone.

Oh where do I begin. I’ve known Mark and Lauren for roughly four years, and I feel so blessed to have had the job of capturing the first day of the rest of their lives. Lauren and Mark had an absolutely BEAUTIFUL wedding full of friends and family that support them in every way possible. Everyone could feel the love in the sanctuary that day. The flowers were radiant, the laughter was addictive, and the decorations represented Lauren and Mark perfectly! I could continue writing about all the wonderful details and moments of the day, but I love how pictures can tell that same story. So please enjoy this post, it’s the first day of a wonderful love story…

Edgar & Ruth | Engagement

Oh good gracious, where do I even begin? I LOVE EDGAR AND RUTH! I’ve known Edgar ever since my freshman year of College (about four years) and I felt so blessed when they chose me to do their engagement pictures. I could photograph these two for days! They have such an elegance to their love, my heart just melted after every picture! Edgar and Ruth met on the dance floor of a ballroom dance company and ever since, well the rest is just history. Their giggles are cute, their Eskimo kisses are adorable, and they are such naturals behind a camera!!! I could seriously go on for days about these two but to avoid embarrassing myself, I will just let the pictures tell the rest of the story. And their story is definitely one worth reading :)

We headed to the dance studio in downtown Goshen where their love began. I got the pleasure of experiencing such quiet moments as they danced together so effortlessly.

Collette and Weston | E-Session

When I met Collette and Weston a few weeks back, I was extremely excited for the chance to work with them. They are clearly two of the most gorgeous people I have ever seen and we could not stop laughing! This same kind of atmosphere transferred over into the engagement shoot and I am one very happy photographer! Collette and Weston are just so stinking adorable together that I can hardly stand it! They also have two of the greatest personalities that when combined can make even the saddest person smile! My cheeks hurt after this shoot because I was smiling so much! So thank you Collette and Weston for a wonderful day and a wonderful blog post of mythical proportions! Your love for each other is practically like magic and I absolutely can’t wait for your wedding next summer! Oh and speaking of magic, doesn’t a huge movie about witches and wizards and magic come out this weekend? I thought I heard that somewhere :) ENJOY everyone!!!

The Sankey Family

Jamie, Shane, Kayla, and Kylie.

They make up the Sankey Family.

This family plays a big part in the lives of my very own family. My mother who cares for both Kayla and Kylie everyday through her daycare service gets to watch the two of them grow up every day. Whenever I come home, I get to see the changes they experienced in the time I’ve been gone. I get the pleasure of hearing their stories in the excitement of my presence, regardless of how long it’s been since I’ve seen them. Shane and Jamie made ALL of the food at my wedding with out a single complaint and I can’t thank him enough for all the favors they gave for my family during that time. This family is important as are all the families of the world and I am so excited to have captured the essence and spontaneity of their lives as they know it in 2010.

This next series will melt your heart!!!!

When we traveled between locations, the girls found some dork glasses and aviators in my car…the results are so adorable I can hardly stand it!!!!

Lafayette E-Session | Whitney and Ryan

I have felt so inspired lately. The weather is beautiful outside, the leaves are falling, and I have a lot of photo shoots coming up and my heart just wants to sing!!! But most importantly, I’ve begun to embark on more and more couples and I get to see their lives first hand during one of the most special times of their lives. Not to mention, I get to hand over images that will be placed in picture frames for years to come. You could say that is a lot of pressure, but I say that that is one of the most humbling experiences ever! Here’s to love, laughter, and the joy of marriage! Congrats Whitney and Ryan- you are both beautiful people and your lives will be so beautiful together. Happy Fall everyone!

RACHEL | HOT SENIOR

So… I love my job. I get to prance around in the beautiful weather and take pictures of beautiful people! What could be better than that? But the following Senior Session was a JOY to photograph. She is beautiful, talented, smart, and stinking hilarious! Also, the last time I saw this girl named Rachel was back when she was in elementary school….man has she grown up! But enough talking, it’s time to view the pictures of a girl who said she hates getting her picture taken. Please!!! Are you kidding me? Haha enjoy!
